Assisi wine tasting

Umbria offers a wide range of wine tasting sessions throughout the region.

Fine wine enthusiasts must not miss out on a visit to the Sportoletti winery, a stone’s throw from Assisi and Villa Rosy.

Brothers Remo and Ernesto, founders of the winery and expert winemakers, will personally accompany you to the vineyards and wine cellar of the estate, demonstrate the entire production chain and answer any questions you may have.

During the tasting you will sample some of the best labels in Umbria such as white or red Sportoletti Villa Fidelia, which you can combine with traditional Umbrian dishes from simple torta al testo cake to slices of cured meats and cheeses or a complete lunch including tiramisù with straw wine!

A fascinating sensory experience rendered even more enjoyable by the friendliness and helpfulness of your hosts who will be delighted to share with you their passion for wine.
