Tour of Umbrian tastes in Val Tiberina, Italy

In order to get to know the real Umbria, Barbara d’Agapiti from Winelinkitaly proposes a tour of the tastes of Umbria in the Alta Valle del Tevere area.

You will visit towns with a rich history such as Citerna and Città di Castello, surrounded by some of Italy’s most beautiful hills. You will discover the thousands of fruit varieties at a plant nursery and witness the production of buffalo mozzarella at the only specialised farm in Umbria.

Barbara will introduce you to enthusiastic farmers and breeders and you will have the opportunity to sample the region’s fine wines at an excellent restaurant in Città di Castello.

You will be collected directly from your holiday home, then simply allow yourself to be led on a wonderful journey to discover the authentic tastes of Umbria.
