Umbrian olive oil tasting

At San Potente Agritourism you can witness the olive harvest and  taste the new oil straight from the press.

Around mid-October our agricultural firm begins the olive harvest, and there is no better introduction to the world of extra-virgin Umbrian olive oil than a tasting of the San Potente oil in the very places where it is produced!

Our expert professional taster Corinna will guide you through a sensory analysis of the olive oils, teaching you to recognise the subtle differences created from one year to the next.

The olive oil tasting will be preceded by a guided visit to our olive grove where Corinna will explain the various factors that determine the quality of an extra-virgin Umbrian olive oil.

The more enterprising and willing guests can also take part in the harvest.

Outside the harvest period we organise convivial Umbrian olive oil tasting sessions where you can sample our extra-virgin oil accompanied by local produce and various dishes from the region’s gastronomic tradition.

There is truly something for all tastes!
